America’s “Pro-Business” President

As America’s “Pro-Business” president, the Trump administration can do a number of things to make it easier to start a small business, buy a franchise, and hire people. Here are a few ideas I have to get the new administration heading in the right direction.

Make it easy to get a small business loan.
President George Bush made buying a home affordable to everyone with government guaranteed home loans. Obama made education available to the masses with government guaranteed student loans. Now the Trump administration is sure to follow suit with government guaranteed small business loans. Gone will be the factors that in the past have led one to be declined for a loan like having poor credit or a lack of experience or insufficient collateral. Banks will no longer have to underwrite their loans based on the likelihood that they will be repaid. Banks will simply be able to sell the loan to the government who in turn will sell it to Wall Street, who in turn will bundle them into mutual funds and sell them back to investors willing to take the risks.

Low-Interest small business loans to inner cities
The Trump administration will lobby to make small business loans at special low-interest rates available to anyone willing to start or expand a company within certain geographic areas, such as the inner cities like Detroit, St. Louis, and Chicago. An influx of capital is sure to energize and revitalize these areas of our country that now are plagued with unemployment.

Tax-Free business zones
The Trump administration could make the operation of a business in special areas “tax-free” in order to jump start entrepreneurs willing to help rebuild our inner cities by opening or expanding their businesses there. The administration could also offer tax credits to new business start-ups willing to open in inner city zip codes in the same locations as above and all impoverished areas.

Getting start-up capital into the hands of entrepreneurs who want to work hard and build businesses is a cornerstone of ending unemployment and the cycle of poverty. Call franchise attorney Mario Herman for a free consultation on buying a franchise or expanding your existing business by franchising.
